Togetha Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of Togetha. Togetha provides software tools for volunteer discovery, signup, coordination, attendance confirmation, calendar feeds, and service-record generation.

Platform role

Unless explicitly stated in a specific opportunity, Togetha does not operate, supervise, control, or staff volunteer activities listed by organizations. Togetha is a coordination and recordkeeping platform. Organizations are responsible for the volunteer activities they post.

Accounts

Users must provide accurate account information, keep login credentials secure, and use Togetha only for lawful volunteer coordination and verified service records. Togetha may suspend or remove accounts that are fraudulent, abusive, unsafe, misleading, or used to interfere with the platform.

Age eligibility

Togetha is not available to children under 13. Users under 18 may participate only where an organization allows minors and where any required parent or guardian consent, school consent, site consent, screening, or supervision is obtained.

Organization agreement summary

Organizations and their representatives are responsible for accurate opportunity listings, lawful activities, site safety, supervision, training, screening or background checks where required, waivers, accessibility and accommodation processes, parent or guardian consent where required, and accurate attendance verification.

Volunteer agreement summary

Volunteers agree to follow organizer instructions, provide accurate information, avoid misrepresenting attendance or hours, and understand that organizations may require separate waivers, screening, training, or consent before participation.

Opportunity listings

Organizations must not post fake, unsafe, discriminatory, misleading, illegal, or unauthorized opportunities. Togetha may remove listings, pause organizations, revoke verified records, or restrict accounts when there is a safety, privacy, fraud, or platform-integrity concern.

Verified service records

A verified service record means that an organization member or Togetha platform administrator confirmed attendance or service completion inside Togetha. Togetha does not guarantee that a school, employer, scholarship program, immigration authority, court, agency, or other third party will accept a Togetha record.

Calendar feeds

Private calendar subscription links are secret links. Anyone with a private calendar URL may be able to view the events in that feed. Users can rotate their private calendar link in calendar settings.

Acceptable use

Users may not harass others, impersonate people or organizations, create fake opportunities, falsify service hours, scrape the platform, spam users, upload malicious content, bypass access controls, or collect volunteer information outside the purposes of coordinating a posted opportunity.

No professional advice

Togetha does not provide legal, tax, immigration, employment, academic, insurance, medical, safety, or professional advice. Users and organizations should obtain appropriate advice for their own obligations.

Availability and changes

Togetha may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. Togetha may update these Terms and will identify the effective date of the active version.
